Bas Veen is besides chairman also an entrepreneur. He co-founded Staffinghouse, a recruitment organization which also donate a percentage of the profit to Tawana.
Menno Nieuwpoort – Treasurer
Rein Buijtelaar – Secretary
Menno Nieuwpoort and Rein buijtelaar are entrepreneurs with more than 25 year experience in ICT consulting and employment mediation. They are now active as an investor.
Financial responsibility
The directors are unpaid and work selflessly for the foundation. The foundation’s figures are published at the end of each calendar year. The foundation was founded in December 2022 and has therefore included a summary report for 2022 in its annual accounts.
Governance and risk control
We operate strictly on the following conditions:
- Screening local contacts and collaboration partners
- Collaborations with fixed local partners
- Transparant financial reporting
- No cash payments
